Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please read our booking policy before placing your order. By submitting an order form you agree to these terms.

Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date and confirm your order. No date is held until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due in full no later than 7 days before your collection or delivery date.

We accept payment by bank transfer, PayPal, or card via Shopify checkout. Receipts are issued automatically by email.

Booking Lead Times

We require a minimum of 7 days notice for most celebration cakes. For wedding cakes and large multi-tier orders, we recommend booking 3–6 months in advance to guarantee availability. Orders placed with less than 7 days notice may be accepted at our discretion and may incur a rush fee.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order:

  • More than 14 days before your date: your deposit is forfeited but no further charge applies.
  • 7–14 days before your date: 75% of the full order value is payable.
  • Less than 7 days before your date: 100% of the full order value is payable, as ingredients and preparation will already be underway.

Cancellations must be made in writing by email to our studio email address (found in the footer and on our contact page).

Date Changes

We will do our best to accommodate date changes, subject to availability. Date change requests must be made at least 14 days before the original date and are not guaranteed. A date change fee of £20 may apply.

Design Changes

Minor adjustments to colours and wording can be made up to 14 days before your date at no charge. Significant design changes requested after the deposit has been paid may incur an additional fee and are subject to feasibility.

Delivery

Delivery fees are calculated based on road distance from our studio. The fee is confirmed on your order form and is non-refundable once delivery has been attempted. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available at the delivery address at the agreed time. If a delivery cannot be completed due to no one being present, a redelivery charge will apply.

Collection

Cakes collected from our studio are the customer's responsibility once they leave our premises. We are not liable for damage occurring after handover. Please ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting your cake (flat boot space, not in direct sunlight).
