Join us this half term for our cake class where your child will not only bake but decorate their cakes using buttercream and fondant figures. Ages: 11+ Dates: Wednesday 27th May, 2026 Time: 10am - 4pm Location: Letchworth Garden City What they’ll learn: Bake from scratch: Master the science of a flawless, light sponge. Prepare dual frostings: Learn to make American Buttercream and a chocolate ganache drizzle. Professional finish: Master smooth-siding, piping techniques, and creating a modern shard cake or texture finish. Parents, this is a fully supervised, all-inclusive day that will build real confidence in the kitchen (and give you a rest!). We are fully insured, DBS checked, and hold a Level 2 hygiene certificate. What’s Included? Hands-On Baking Experience – Guided by expert bakers, students will mix, bake, and decorate their own cakes and cupcakes. Everything is provided – Each student receives everything they need to bake and decorate their cakes. Friendly Bake-Off Competition – A light-hearted contest at the end of the class with a special prize for creativity and effort. Take-Home Treats – Every student leaves with their baked goods in a beautifully packaged gift box. Certificates for All Participants – A special certificate to celebrate their baking achievements.
